“Relaxing by the pool”

This is a great place for two things: relaxing and surfing.

I didn't surf on my trip but fount BPV to be a great place to relax far away from the busy areas of Bali like Kuta and Seminyak.

The villas are a little run down if you're not getting a honeymoon suite which look to be better kept - but the villas are comfortable and very spacious with lounges and jacuzzi's on the second floor of most villas. The honeymoon suites are excellent, private, spacious and the private pool and lounge are ideal for a lazy day.

The service is friendly and but you should expect a relaxed approach rather than the hyper attentive 5 star approach. The food is adequate and the staff will go to all lengths to cater for your needs limited only by some language issues and sometimes varying food presentation and composition for the same dishes.

The main pool is very clean and the view is breathtaking. The garden pool is seldom used and also well looked after.

Is this place 5 star? no - but it is a very comfortable and charming place to stay with little to do other than relax and invole yourself in outside activities offered by the local community and localised tour/activity operators.

Take a book and your surfboard and you'll happily have a relaxing time.
